An experienced family history researcher can help you to find out about your ancestors and their lives in England and Wales.
The results will be presented in an easy to follow format which, after you have received it, allows you to add your own photographs or other family information if you wish.
You will also receive a family tree chart and a line of descent chart.
A free initial assessment, based on the information you provide, will determine if research into your chosen line will be possible.
The Family History Package
The family history package I offer covers one direct surname line back in time using one of your family members, for example a parent or grandparent, as the starting point.
Depending on the documents and information available, your chosen line could reach back to the early 1800s, the late 1700s, or perhaps even earlier. Any earlier documents or information discovered during the research will be included in your family history package.
Certificates, if required, are obtained from the General Register Office. Up to three certificates are included in the package price, and any other certificates necessary are provided at cost price to you, in addition to the package price. These will be presented in the file along with the results of the research.
Your family history is presented in a ring binder and includes a chart giving an overview of the family members in your file, so you can navigate easily through the file. Turning to the pages relating to a particular ancestor will give you details of their birth, marriage and death, where known, any children they had, and details of their occupation and the places they lived, where this information is available.
